    UNT System continues our Hispanic Heritage Month celebration with Part III of our "Mi Familia" video series. Meet Robert Tinajero, Ph.D., Assistant Professor of English and Rhetoric at UNT Dallas. An El Paso native, he grew up having "Latinos, Latinas all around me." It wasn't until he left those comfortable cultural confines for Austin College in Sherman that he began to discover a whole new world of diversity. Now as a professor, he wants students of all backgrounds to see that, "Yes, there are Latino professors, there are Latinos, Latinas getting Ph.D.'s," he says. Watch Robert tell his story as he's interviewed by his wife, Chealsie Sanchez, Assistant Principal at Trini Garza Early College High School in Oak Cliff.
